Youth Chairperson of Mandala Trikora Province of Papua: Papuans do not want to be provoked

Responding to his viral on social media about video demands for the release of seven brain prisoners from riots in Papua and West Papua Provinces in 2019, the Chairperson of the Youth Mandala Trikora Province of Papua spoke up.

Youth leader and Chairman of the Mandala Trikora Youth Province in Papua, Ali Albert Kabiay said that the action was an act of provocation from a number of people for certain interests, which deliberately created chaos in Papua so that Papua was not safe and peaceful.

"Seven prisoners of racist demonstration cases which resulted in riots in Papua and West Papua Provinces in 2019 were pure criminality so that together we will submit the legal process to the government in accordance with the applicable regulations in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia." Decisively Ali Kabiay, Friday (6/5/2020).

"What's wrong is still wrong and what's right is still right. "The community remains calm and focused on how we help the government in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic in Papua," he continued.

Ali Kabiay also appealed to young Papuans to stay at home, learn from home, follow the government's advice in combating the Covid-19 outbreak, and do not be easily influenced by a handful of people or illegal groups that always disrupt security stability, such as KNPB, ULMWP, and other similar groups.

"To community leaders, religious leaders, we also urge to let us together maintain the unity and integrity of the nation, and friendship and love," Ali said.

"Do not we see the case of racism that occurred in the United States, then we want to compare with in Indonesia because of course the protap of security officers in the United States and Indonesia is certainly different," he continued.

This is evidenced by every problem in Indonesia, security officers still prioritize the settlement by means of kinship and mutual cooperation.

"Therefore, let's instill the noble values of Pancasila into our lives," he appealed.
