Swab Sampling Training for Jayapura District Health Center Medical Staff

The Jayapura District COVID-19 Task Force for Acceleration and Prevention plans to send 10 puskesmas workers to the Papua Provincial Health Laboratory to take swab sampling training.

"On Monday (11/5) we plan to train 10 of our Puskesmas staff in the Papua Province Labkesda for swab collection," said the spokesperson for the Jayapura District COVID-19 Task Force for Acceleration and Prevention, Khairul Lie in Sentani.

According to him, when conducting tests with a rapid test tool and if it is positive then a swab is taken, and it can be faster to be able to do a psyard examination.

In addition, according to him, routine activities of the Jayapura Regency Task Force Team, continue to be carried out as usual.

On Saturday (9/5) the disinfectant team sprayed disinfectant liquid into shops along the main road in the local district.

Furthermore, he said, on Saturday the health promotion team accompanied the head of the Task Force to the Depapre District during his visit to the district while providing health promotion and information to the people in the district.

He said, the health care team continued to focus on providing health services to positive COVID-19 patients who are now focused at Yowari Regional Hospital.

"In the puskesmas continue to provide health services to the community, conduct tracing and monitoring," he added.
