The Governor of West Papua, Dominggus Madacan inaugurated the Ransiki Health Center, South Manokwari Regency, Wednesday, May 27, 2020. According to Dominggus, the Ransiki Health Center will be used as a referral health center and must serve all residents in the South Manokwari Regency.

"So it does not only serve the Ransiki residents, until the Oransbari Primary Hospital construction is completed, all levels of society must be served," said Dominggus in his remarks, Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

In addition, in his direction Dominggus also asked the public to continue implementing health protocols related to Covid-19.

"Because more and more patients are confirmed to be positive with Covid-19 and also people without symptoms (OTG) and people under monitoring (ODP) in West Papua," he explained.

In the inauguration of the Ransiki Community Health Center, mask assistance was also provided from the Dominggus Madacan-Kiriweno family, which was received by the Regent of South Manokwari, Markus Waran.

The head of the West Papua Province Health Office, Otto Parorongan said, the value of the construction of this building (Puskesmas Ransiki) took a budget of Rp16 billion in the 2016-2019 West Papua Regional Budget, including the failed auction in 2017.

"With a large budget, of course the health center is also magnificent with 2 representative floors with a building area of ​​2,452 square meters. And the first floor is 1,764 square meters and the second floor is 688 square meters, "he explained.
