Jayapura Mayor's Appeal To Break Covid-19 Chain

Deputy Mayor of Jayapura, Ir. H. Rustan Saru, MM. who is also the head of the acceleration of the handling of Covid-19 in the city of jayapura, appealed to the public to follow government regulations to break the chain of the Covid-19 outbreak in the city of Jayapura, Papua,

"Instruction of the Mayor of Jayapura City is very clear that, the community must follow government regulations in preventing the spread of the 19th plague," he said Wednesday (4/29/2020).

He further said, we must keep our distance, wear masks, may not gather and if we leave the house when we return, we must wash our hands because the Corona virus is invisible and very dangerous and is spread everywhere.

"The public must be disciplined so that they can break the co-19 chain," he said.

He added, due to the impact of the corona virus, the government delayed the implementation of the PON-XX-2020 to 2021. Therefore, to the whole community, let us support the government's decision for a successful PON in 2021.

"To the athletes, don't be discouraged, keep up the spirit, keep practicing according to the existing procedures so that our hope is that the corona virus will end soon and in 2021, PON can take place well," he concluded.
